Michael House School is committed to helping you to keep your children safe on-line.  To this end we fully endorse the NSPCC materials under the ‘Share Aware’ campaign.

A helpful link to a whole suite of useful resources is

Please access these to find a helpful video, information on the range of social networks that children may access (in a recent class discussion children were able to name over 14!), how to use privacy settings, links to an on-line safety helpline and much much more.  We are awaiting some leaflets from NSPCC and will send a hard copy when they arrive.  We will be using some of the ‘share aware’ teaching resources to support pupils to stay safe on-line and these can also be accessed through the website.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s use of the internet don’t hesitate to contact Ron Waddell the School Manager, Satu our lead safeguarder, or a class teacher.
