SIS Report and Action Plan

The School Inspection Service (SIS) have now published their report following the school inspection in January 2017 and its findings are disappointing.

The School was aware of many of these problems last year and re-structured its management in order to implement an improvement agenda which was evidenced by inspectors. However there has been insufficient time as yet, for the changes to have impacted on the areas requiring improvement.

The report contains many recommendations, and we have already drawn up an ambitious action plan to implement them in full, some of which have already been completed.

We are delighted that the Nursery and Kindergarten have received a good judgement since they are a solid bedrock on which the school can base its continuing improvement.

There will be whole school meetings held at 2pm on Saturday 25th February and 7pm on Tuesday 28th February to discuss the findings of the report. The meetings will be identical in nature and by holding it twice we hope that all members will be able to attend at least one of them.
