SIS Progress Monitoring Report

The School Inspection Service (SIS) conducted an unannounced progress inspection of the school on the 28th-29th June.
This was to see how the school had progressed following the inspection in January when there were many issues identified.

The two inspectors who conducted the progress inspection were part of the original team and were amazed and delighted at how much progress had been made in such a relatively short space of time. This is reflected in their report which now finds the school meets all but one of the previously missed standards. (We still need to provide suitable changing accommodation and showers for pupils aged 11 and over).

On behalf of trustees, I’d like to offer a big thank you to Ron Waddell, the School Manager, and all teachers and staff for the huge amount of work over the last five months in addressing the issues. This was a team effort and the school can now go into the summer holidays with a sense of achievement, so well done everybody!

Ian Duffy (Chair of Trustees)
