Great news story this week in the Ripley and Heanor News titled: “School bucks national and county trends”.
The story highlights the 75% of Michael House pupils gaining top marks in their GCSE’s compared to a fall in the national rate from 59.2% to 53.4%. The overall Derby percentage fell from just under 56% to 52%. The average for Derbyshire also fell from 59.1% to 53.7% (figures from The Department for Education).
So once again well done to Class 10 of 2014!
