Rock music really raised the roof on Saturday night when we were treated to a marvellous mix of rockers young and old (no disrespect intended!!)
From the Jungle Book beat to the Monster Mash, from leaping punks to head banging Whiplash..we had our monies worth over and over again. Where else in the country would you get heavy metal, a light sponge and a smashing cuppa for a fiver- only Michael House!
All the bands had connection to the school, most were pupils past and present, it was a real treat to watch these guys perform, they all had bags of star quality.
A huge thank you to all of the bands for giving their time to our cause and providing such rich entertainment, to Ian Phillips for being such a star compare (Even the fire alarm ringing half way through the last set didn’t phase him!!) and to Elijah Phillips for organising the lighting.
We raised over £300 for the class 8 trip to Iceland. Many thanks to everyone that came and supported. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
