After a very busy end to the summer term, we gathered together a working group from the school staff for a two day workshop investigating the history and ethos and vision of the school. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on where we had come from and where we are heading.
After much work looking at the reasons for changes that had taken place over the school’s life and the impacts that these changes had had on the school, we were able to step back and see where we were and what needed to be done next. From this reflective work we now have an ethos that represents what our school aims to be.
This new ethos for the school will drive our future work and help us to bring about the necessary changes to make our school a thriving Steiner Waldorf school for all the children and families associated with Michael House.
