On Tuesday 2nd October 2012 our school will be holding its annual Michaelmas celebrations. For those new to the community and those who have not been before please read on to find out how you can get involved. In the morning the entire school; children, teachers, parents and friends roll up their sleeves and take to the ground in an effort to smarten up the place for the new academic year. At the same time, Class 7 will be hard at work in the kitchen preparing a vegetable soup which we will all share in the hall at 12.30pm. As is traditional, each child will be expected to bring in some vegetables to contribute to the soup. Some of the jobs for the day may require building materials and/or tools, please let us know if you can help. We hope that you are able to join us and make this year as productive as before
Jobs for the day include sanding and painting all the doors in the playground, weeding around the playground and down the drive, re-setting the car park entrance from the park sign, pruning and clearing undergrowth, making a notice-board to be installed at playground entrance etc.
